No more than/not more thanとnothing more thanの違い・使い方

No more than/not more thanの意味は、


“You use no more than or not more than when you wan to emphasize how small a number or amount is.”




例、It was a kitten, not more than 12-18 weeks old.





一方、nothing more thanの意味は、


“If you say that someone or something is nothing more than a particular thing, you are emphasizing that they are only that thing, and nothing more interesting or important.”





例、Mr. Smith was dismissed by the critics as nothing more than a fraud.
