「今は、もはや、今後はもう」等の意味で”anymore”と”any more”は副詞として両方使われる事があります。しかし、副詞の場合はanymore を使うのがお勧めです。

 



 

英語の意味でしたら、

“any longer;

nowadays; presently

still

now or from now on”

となります。

 

例文

Taro doesn’t live here anymore.

 

一方、「これ以上」の意味の場合は、any moreを使いましょう。Anymoreは使えません。

 

英語の意味は、

“additional; more”

です。

 

この様に使います。

 

Are there any more questions?

 

Are there any more suggestions?

 

I don’t need any more socks.

 

 

例、

 

I can’t practice anymore.

今後はもう練習出来ない。

（例えば、怪我をしたので。）

 

I can’t practice any more.

これ以上練習できない。

（例えば、８時間毎日練習しているので、８時間以上練習出来ない。）

 

Anymoreとany moreで文の意味が全く違います。
