Appointmentとは、
「予約、（日時・場所を決めて会合の）約束」の名詞です。

Appointとは、
「指定する、指名する、任命する、」等の動詞です。

Sexyとは、

人を「sexy」と呼ぶ場合は99.999%No.2の意味です。
Lotsの意味は、

不定冠詞 aとanの違い・使い方・使い分けの復習です。
たまに生徒さんは、不定冠詞の次にくる単語が母音字(a,e,i,o,u)で始まるとanになると勘違いしています。
母音字・スペリングで決まらないですね。発音で決めます。
不定冠詞の次にくる単語の発音が母音がら始まるとanです。
a horse trailer (horseがhの子音で発音するから)
an honest person (honestのhはsilentでo/aの様な母音から発音するから）
a university (universityのuはy(like you)の発音で始まるから）
an umbrella (このuは母音の発音だから）
an NGO (このNの発音はeみたいな母音の発音で始まる）
a non-profit (このnは子音の発音）
an x-ray (xはeみたいな母音の発音で始まる）
